Taichung Motor Vehicle Station has driven its mobile Motor Vechile service truck to the Baixinggong Temple at Tali District to continue its service to elderly people in Tali District and its peripheral area; Taichung Motor Vehicle Station has cultivated in Taili District for many years, finally, good license change habit of elderly people was created; such service was started from 2019 until now, and head count for license change was in a continuously rising trend. Mr. Lai, an old man aged 81 who has set up his stall beside Baixinggong Temple for a long time, has changed his license in 2023 by taking advantage of such considerate and convenient service; in these years, he has witnessed and watched our service, and he never thought that one day he will also benefit from such convenient service. 

Chief of Taichung Motor Vehicle Station, Kuo-Yuan Lin, has pointed out that the license change notices for elderly people above 75 years old have all been sent out, those elderly people who have received the notices can make physical examination and cognitive test first, those who are qualified can, on March 28, bring original driving license, original ID card and one inch photos taken within two years to go to Baixinggong Temple of Dali District to change the license on site; for those who no longer drive the car or ride a autobike could turn back the driving license voluntarily. On that day, there will also be actual experiencing opportunity for “blind spot of large vehicle” and announcement for intersection without traffic signal; meanwhile, due to the frequent collision accident occurred between pedestrian and vehicle in Renhua Rd., a demonstration of “how pedestrian can cross the road safely” will be speficially provided.
