| Content | The fuel usage fee for automobile and motorcycle for year 2023 has exceeded the taxation period, therefore, on November 27, double registered letter for fuel usage fee call-for-payment notice has been mailed to 160 thousand vehicle owners in Taichung-Changhua-Nantou area, and the payment deadline will be January 02, 2024, therefore, the vehicle owner must finish the payment within the deadline to avoid any fine. According to article 75 of “highway act”, if the vehicle owner has not paid the fuel usage fee after the payment deadline, in addition to the fine of above 300 NTDs and below 3,000 NTDs, the vehicle owner will also be sent to Administrative Enforcement Agency of Ministry of Justice for compulsory execution, and the vehicle change or renewing of license will be stopped; therefore, we urge the vehicle owner to pay before deadline to avoid the fine of delayed payment. The station chief of Fengyuan Motor Vehicles Station, Chien-Hsing Huang, said that after the vehicle owner has received the call-for-payment notice, the vehicle owner can take the form to pay at financial organization, post office or convenience store; in addition, the vehicle owner is welcome to pay online through multiple channels such as Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service, Motor Vehicle Service APP, e-Bill nationwide payment network, telephone voice service, iPASS MONEY, Yuanta Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Bank SinoPac Company Limited, JKOPay, Beepay, Shopee, Easy Wallet, Gama Pay and PXPay Plus; in other words, diversified payment ways can save you lots of time and make the payment much easier. In addition, we also encourage the vehicle owner to go to the official web site of Taichung Vehicles Office or Motor Vehicle Driver Information Service［https://www.mvdis.gov.tw/］to make online application of agreed deduction service; by doing so, the automobile fuel usage fee will be deducted automatically every year, and the vehicle owner does not have to worry about the missing of bill, loss of payment as well as the subsequent fine; we welcome all the vehicle owners to use such convenient service.
